Wedding: Invitations.

Our wedding invitations have all been ordered, addressed, and mailed.  Whew!  This shindig is happening whether we are ready for it or not!  We will be hosting our wedding at our home in about 12 weeks, in the dead of winter, in New England. We needed an invite that was casual, modern, and (of course) winter-y!

Then I found Wedding Paper Divas and started out with 8 free samples of invitations we liked:

Of those, I couldn’t help but fall in love with this one, “Silent Frost”, because it fit the mood of our winter wedding, and it had an uncanny similarity to our own snow back yard.
After making that decision, we designed our invite on their website, ordered it with some special requests for their designers to approve, and voila, they arrived.  Actually…. my shipping got a little off schedule, but their customer service team is made up of rockstars and I had my invitations overnighted to me without any hassle at all.  Would I recommend them?  Absolutley.

The only thing I wished they provided was more envelope selections for modern gals like me.  I didn’t want to use white or cream envelopes (their only options), so I found the rest of my supplies at Paper Source, after all this wouldn’t be a Heatherland project without some sort of customization.  I was on the hunt for something different.

The white ink on the gray really stands out. I loved the final result, the only problem is it takes the post office about two weeks to process them since they all needed to be hand sorted.

But I dig ’em!
